Grant Resources for Special Needs Families
Are you a caregiver of a child with special or medical needs? This resource page has grants to help with therapy and medical costs with associated travel, grants for medical/adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs or adaptive bikes, wish organizations and other freebies to put a smile on your child’s face.

Most organizations below serve more prominent areas and have their criteria for referring a child for the geographical location they serve.
Therapy, Medical Expenses and More
Euro-Peds Foundation
Exclusively provides pediatric intensive physical therapy treatment and travel grants to our clinic, Euro-Therapies.
The Lenn Foundation
Supports children with CP in receiving the pediatric therapies they need to thrive in their everyday lives.
UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation
Offers grants for kids 16 years old or younger for services health insurance does not cover.
Alyssa V. Phillips Foundation
Assists children with cerebral palsy with therapies or other medical treatments that insurance doesn’t cover.
June Brandy Foundation
Assists families with children who have pediatric illnesses/disability.
Building Blocks for Kids
Provides grants to children for health-related needs in Cincinnati, tri-state area.
Maggie Welby Foundation
Provides grants to families in need.
Holton’s Heroes
Assists families affected by post-birth traumatic brain injury.
Aubrey Rose Foundation
Assists families with medical expenses.
Giving Angels Foundation
Awards grants to children with physical disability from lower-income families with life-changing equipment, medical supplies, essential family bills, specialized camps, and therapeutic toys.
Birth Injury Center

Provides grants for medical equipment and therapy equipment for families with special needs.

Travel Information
Many families from all over Michigan and other states travel to Euro-Therapies, an expansion of Euro-Peds, to attend two-, three-, and four-week intensive physical therapy programs.
